Film
Having spent the early part of her career acting, Leilani started screenwriting in 2005 and the year after began directing and producing. Her directorial debut Death of the Dinosaurs was nominated for a British Independent Film Award in 2006.
She went on to produce, direct and assist on numerous films, most of which have had global success on the film festival circuit. She continues to act, write and direct and for six years co-ran a UK collaborative filmmaking group of over 1000 members. Her films can be viewed on the dropdown menu above.
Leilani is a member of The Writers Building an exclusive network of screenwriters headquartered in Los Angeles, British Equity, Women in Film and Television and an alumni of the London Screenwriters Festival Talent Campus. When not acting, writing and directing she fuels her artistic mind by taking street photos.
